Janitiser

Janitiser is a group maintenance bot.
Among its features are:
- Deletion of “User joined” and “User left” messages;
- Captcha for new users;
- Admin notifications*;
- Democracy mode*.
* paid features.
All features are configurable by admins of the chat.
There are two groups of commands: Admin commands and User commands.
Admin commands start with slash / and are available only to admins of the group.
User commands start with exclamation mark ! and are available to all users of
the group, if the respective feature is enabled.
Deletion of “User joined” and “User left” messages
Once you add the bot to your group, it will start deleting “User joined” and “User left” messages. This is useful for large groups, or groups with large turnover. No other features are enabled by default.
Captcha Mode
Captcha mode is enabled by issuing /cleanr captcha on command in the group.
Once enabled, the following happens when the user join the chat:
- User is restricted (can’t send messages)
- Bot sends a message offering to press the button;
- If user presses the button, all restrictions are lifted and user can join the discussion
- If the user doesn’t press the button, they get kicked out after 2 minutes (but not banned).
The kicked out user can rejoin the group, but they will be restricted again and will have to press the button again.
Paid Captcha Mode
Paid customer have access to image captcha, pretty similar that you see on the web. The bot sends a message with an image, and the user has to reply to the message with the text they see in the image. You can enable it with the following command:
/cleanr captcha image
Admin Notifications
Admin notifications are enabled by issuing /cleanr notify on command in the
group. Once enabled, users can notify administrators of the group about messages.
To notify the administrators, the user replies to the message they want to
notify about, and issues the command !snitch or !report. This will send a
message to.
Democracy Mode
Democracy mode lets your community to self-moderate the group.
In democracy mode, Janitiser will respond to votes in the channel that may result in the following:
- Deletion of messages
- Silencing of other members;
- Kicks/bans;
- etc.
It works like this:
- Administrator enables the democracy mode;
- Optionally sets the quorum (for example, 10% of group members);
- Members of the group can vote on messages now, and once the quorum is reached, the action will be executed automatically.
To vote, users reply to the message of the person they want to vote for, and depending on the scope of the command, the action is taken on the message, or on the user, that sent that message.
For exaqmple, a person joins that starts to advertise a product, and this is against the rules of your group. You have enabled the Democracy Mode and set the quorum to 10%. Your group has 100 members, so 10 votes are needed to take the action.
Administrator can always override the action manually using usual Telegram group controls, or veto the action by replying with !veto command, protecting the user from being kicked or banned.
